Leadership Team

Michael Bontrager

Mike founded Chatham in 1991 and is the CEO and managing principal. Formerly a Vice President in the Derivative Products Group at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), Mike spent nine years in various credit, corporate finance, and derivative roles in New York and Zurich, Switzerland. He holds a BA in Economics from Wheaton College, Illinois and received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.



David Hall

Dave oversees all Chatham’s advisory service groups and is a resource and advisor to the technology group. Joining Chatham in 1995, Dave has been a key leader and resource across all facets of the company. Prior to his current role, Dave led Chatham’s Europe team from 2004 until 2006. Prior to Chatham, he worked for the Finance Group at DuPont Co. in Wilmington, DE. Dave graduated with Honors from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Finance and was a member of the University Scholars Program.



David Lowe

Dave leads Chatham’s People and Organization Development group. For his first six years at Chatham he consulted private real estate developers on their interest rate and currency risks. Prior to Chatham, Dave worked as a consultant for FMI Corporation, focusing on management, leadership and strategy development for construction companies. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Daniel’s College of Business at the University of Denver.



Ted McCullough

Ted oversees Chatham’s client advisory teams and directly leads the Hedge Advisory group. Prior to Chatham, Ted spent eleven years in banking as a trader and marketer, assisting clients in managing currency and interest rate exposures. Ted graduated from Villanova University with a BS in Commerce and Finance and holds an MBA from Drexel University.



Patrick Millar

Patrick oversees Chatham’s technology, quant finance and controls & data integrity related teams. Prior to this role, Patrick led Chatham’s Defeasance team and prior to that Patrick started at Chatham as a consultant on the Financial Institutions team. Before Chatham, Patrick spent 10 years in sales and marketing roles in the software industry, working at companies such as Siebel. Patrick graduated with a B.Eng. in Mech. Eng. and an M.Sc. in Explosive Cutting (developing explosive cutting tools for the oil industry) from the University of Manchester in the UK.



Kathy Williams

Kathy oversees Chatham’s strategic, financial, marketing and operational planning areas as well as Chatham’s international business units. Before joining Chatham, Kathy was North American President and General Manager for Graco Children’s Products, a division of Newell Rubbermaid Corporation. Prior to Graco she spent over seventeen years working in various managerial and leadership positions at Black & Decker in product management, marketing and sales. Kathy graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Communications.
