T-SQL Developer/DBA
As with all candidates in our technology group, strong problem solving and communication skills are minimum requirements for anyone we hire. In addition to those talents, we are looking for an individual with strong T-SQL and DBA skills. Responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to: Develop and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL, Develop procedures and scripts for data migration, Assist in database maintenance, optimization, and replication, and Assist in the physical and logical architecture and design of relational database schemas.
ISDA Specialist
We seek to enhance our hedging operations team with a role specializing in reviewing derivative documentation including the ISDA Master and Schedule, Credit Support Annex, trade confirmations and related documentation. The role is part of our central hedging operations group charged with managing derivative contracts and related post trade processes. The purpose of the role is to continuously improve our expertise and consistency of reviewing derivative documentation for our clients and help clients and their attorneys navigate the practical implications of these documents.
Learn and understand the ISDA agreements associated with derivatives as set by the International Swaps & Derivatives Association (ISDA) documentation
Review derivative trade documentation for accuracy and consistency by comparing bank documentation with our transaction records; assess both economic terms and non-economic provisions; summarize key issues
Share ISDA knowledge with clients, train colleagues on ISDA key points, and negotiate terms with banks on behalf of clients
Coordinate resolution of legal/risk/operational issues with bank back office groups; foster strong working relationships
Monitor and assess new and changing regulatory, legal and industry initiatives, etc.
1-3 years experience working with contract and document review is preferred. Experience as a paralegal, ISDA negotiator, or similar role would be beneficial though not required. Skills critical to this role include strong verbal and written communication skills, strong linguistic abilities, ability to read and understand information quickly, attention to detail, ability to discuss and negotiate the pros and cons of provisions, and the ability to appropriately assess and convey the importance of documentation issues to colleagues and clients. Recent college graduates that demonstrate maturity and competence will be considered as well.
